Opportunities for singing, dance and drama are included in classroom programmes.  Every two years we have Footsteps Dance Company come and work with all students.

Kapa Haka

We have a Senior Kapa Haka Group (Years 3-6) that meet each Tuesday at 1.30pm. The Kapa Haka group are taught by Melanie Wakeham and the children learn a range of waiata, poi, haka and rākau.  The children commit to the group for the year and they participate in local Cultural Festivals.  The group are also the leaders in our school for pōwhiri (formal welcomes).
